My name is Emma Kasza-James, and I am 18 years old. I was born and raised in the Midwest, XCO mountain biking has been my favorite and most readily available form of riding since I was young. I am currently branching out with my riding and trying my hand at gravel and endurance mountain bike racing on top of XCO.  I got my first real taste of endurance mountain bike racing last year at MTB Marathon Nationals and I absolutely loved it! I also love a good long adventure; going out for a weekend and bike packing on my Kona Hei Hei is one of my favorite pastimes. You just can’t get any better than camping and biking all in one. This year, I plan to travel as much as possible and spread the riding love everywhere I go. The community and joy that riding brings me always keeps me coming back for more – I know I’ve found my forever sport right here.
