Ratapol Waitayangkoon

Hi I’m Ratapol Waitayangkoon. I’m 30 years young and I prefer to go by Snook. I live in the Denton, TX in the United States. I grew up racing motocross using cycling purely for fitness and turned to mountain biking as my main sport about 5 years ago. There are no mountains where I live so I’ve had to travel to different places for the real mountain experience. In doing so, I fell more and more in love with this sport. There’s always a new adventure to be had, a new experience to take in, great new people to meet, and I still get to dabble in racing! From growing up in these specific sports as a POC, you realize there is a lack of representation in these activities. In 2018, some friends and I started “All Mountain Brothers”, a group aimed at bringing representation of the BIPOC community to the sport of mountain biking. This sport is for everyone, and I’m very happy to have this opportunity with Kona to help show everyone what the sport of mountain biking has to offer!
