I’m 17 years old and I’m from Maple Valley, Washington. Like most kids, I have loved riding bikes my entire life. I tried racing and I became obsessed. I have been racing now for 5 years. I started my career off as a xc/cyclocross racer then slowly shifted my way over to the gravity side. Enduro has become my passion. In 2017, I achieved one of my cycling career goals of winning the Enduro National Championship. My future goal is to travel the world and to race the Enduro World Series circuit. This upcoming fall, I will be attending Colorado Mesa University and racing my bike on their collegiate gravity team. When I am not on the race circuit, you will see me slapping my Process 153 around in the perfectly sloppy Pacific Northwest weather with all my friends.

PERSONAL TOUCHES ON YOUR BIKES
I typically run my suspension soft, with at least 4 tokens in the front fork to keep it from totally bottoming out. Soft suspension and high tire pressure has been my motto for the past couple of years.
The night before a race, I usually tend to watch sick Pinkbike videos to get me hyped and ready for the next day. During warm up, I listen to music to pump me up.
FAVORITE PLACE TO RIDE
Squamish, BC. Or anywhere in Canada.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM AND WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I am from Colorado, but I live in Maple Valley, Washington
GOALS FOR THE 2018 SEASON
Win 2018 US Enduro National Championship and get a top 5 at Whistler EWS.
THREE THINGS WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU
My favorite food is sushi.
I love back country snowboarding.
I played baseball for about 10 years before racing bikes.
FAVORITE MOMENT OF 2017
My favorite moment of 2017 is winning my first national title. To narrow it down a bit further, my favorite moment was the night after the first day of racing. I was down 10 seconds in second place, and I just remember how anxious I was to get on my bike and to go as fast as I absolutely could because my goal was to win the race. The next day, I pushed myself as hard as I possibly could on all four of the stages and made it happen! I won my first National Championship and it was the best feeling to think that I achieved my goal that have been working towards the whole entire year.
ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS
NETFLIX OR YOUTUBE?
Youtube. I get some very interesting videos in my recommended feed that are always funny and that I love to watch. But Netflix is always a good way to help me fall asleep.
FLIP-FLOPS / SANDALS?
I have to go with the flops. You will see me after every race in a pair of flip flops and cut off jeans. They are just so comfortable after a long day of racing.
LAUNDRY OR DISHES?
Dishes. I hate cleaning food off plates and getting dirty. Laundry is nice, because when the clothes come out they are warm and soft.
WOULD YOU RATHER BECOME A NINJA OR A PIRATE?
Ninja. So I can be sneaky, and chop stuff in half.
PHONE CALL OR TEXT?
Text. Texting is the main way, but if something is important, phone call is the way to go.
