THE CLUMP CALIFORNIA TOUR IS COMING SOON
The Kona Clump boys will be charging through California later this month visiting hot ride spots, bike shops and team sponsors for some hard riding, photo shoots, posters signings and more. Come join riders John Cowan, Paul Basagoitia, Andreu and LLuis Lacondeguy starting in the last week of February as they tour from San Diego to Lake Tahoe.
The tour will start in San Diego Sunday February 24th with the boys stopping at Beyond Bikes at 12pm, followed by The Bike Warehouse at 2pm. The guys will end the afternoon shooting photos on their new 2008 team bikes at an undisclosed riding spot.
Monday the 25th the boys move up to the OC for a noon group ride with the boys from Bike Magezine, Buy my Bikes bike shop and any local riders who would like to attend. That will be followed by a 3pm poster signing at Buy my bikes. Stop by Buy my Bikes for info on the group ride.
Tuesday the 26th the guys will ride Hidden Valley and stop of at The Path bike shop for a casual poster signing.
Wednesday the 27th The Clump move up to LA for some down hill and trail mountain biking, and will make an apperance at Wheel world bike shop at 3pm.
Thursday the 28th the team will take a break from the public and take some time with the Kona Clump suspension sponsor Marzocchi to talk shop and go over new ideas for the future of Mountain bike shox. This will be followed up by a visit to Decline Mag and a session at the pump track.
Friday the 29th is all about Santa Barbra DH. The Clump will meet at Velo Pro bike shop at 12 noon for a shuttle or two and would like to invite local riders to take part. This will then be followed by a stop at the Velo Pro bike shop at 3pm for a little PR. For info on the ride contact Velo Pro (805) 963-7775.
Saturday March 1st the Kona boys will be in Santa Cruz at the Bicycle Trip bike shop for a poster signing from Noon to 1pm. From 1:30-3:30 ride with the Kona Clump at De Laveaga Park. Call 805-705-5411 for info.
Sunday the 2nd is all about Skate park, the boys will be at Ramp Rats in Pentaluma Ca. from 3pm-7pm for a session and poster signing. Call 805-705-5411 for info.
Monday the 3rd, Lake Tahoe! The team will flop at Paul B’s, take over his trail, eat all his food and then stop by Bike Habitat for a meet an greet at 3pm.
