It's the Ford Focus with a Kona Blast! Yep - believe it
or not, Kona's got a car.....we pitched Ford on calling it the Kona
Carbuncle, but we settled on something a little more reasonable: Kona
Mountain Bike Edition Ford Focus. If you haven't already heard, the Ford
Focus was selected North American Car of the Year at the Detroit Auto
Show earlier this year. It was also European Car of the Year in 1999! Best
of all, we got to work with Ford designers to put together a package which combines a great car and bike with features that demanding mountain bikers will love!
This is not just a car with a bike add-on!

color of the car is Dirt Metallic, but will also be available in CD Silver or Rainforest Green. This Special Edition Focus Mountain Bike Edition includes a Ford -
Exclusive Kona Blast 2001 Out of Bounds hardtail bike, an integrated bolted-down luggage rack and fork-mount bike rack;
unique side moldings with molded-in Kona Moto logo and bike tire treads;
cool 16” six-spoke machined aluminum wheels; heavy-duty black rubber Kona
floor mat, also with Kona Moto logo and bike tire treads; and Kona K-Nine
Off-Road Hardwear-inspired seat covers. No more than five thousand of these special cars will be made.
