Alyeska Resort | ALASKA

Alyeska Resort’s downhill mountain bike park has come to fruition from the hard work of our dedicated trail builder team and the passion of many DH bike enthusiasts in South Central Alaska. Alyeska Resort has developed a select offering of 40 plus mountain bike trails that can be accessed right from the Daylodge base area. These are fun, adventurous trails that combine natural features with man-maid berms, jumps, rhythm sections and wooden features. The freeriding and DH trails are accessed by three chairlifts with 20% of terrain being beginner, 50% intermediate and 30% expert. More terrain and features are in the works for summer ‘13 biking with the addition of out brand new high speed quad named Ted’s Express.

Crans-Montana | SWITZERLAND

With 177 km of marked tracks, Crans-Montana has an extraordinary wealth of mountain biking possibilities. As a bonus, they include acrobatic bridges and a Kona Bikepark.

Two downhill mountain bike tracks are available for adrenaline junkies :

Mt-Lachaux red trail
A really beautiful track accessible to riders of all levels. It’s fun, and it’ll lead you through a sequence of steep bends and jumps all along the route. It’s also made up of a few technical sections with roots and stones. This track also has escape routes at more difficult sections, so it’s perfect for beginners.

Chetseron black trail
A wonderful track, technical and fast, for average to expert riders. It includes technical areas such as a canyon strewn with crossfalls, rocky slabs and roots. It includes a few impressive jumps for a maximum adrenaline hit!

Additionally, there are plenty of mountain bike excursions to enjoy above the resort, and also below it, rejoining the Rhone Valley. Scooters with impressive wheels (« Monster 4x4 ») provide another way of hurtling down the slopes. There are guided excursions for families and introductory excursions for beginners.

Killington | USA

Killington’s Kona “Groove Approved” Mountain Bike Park offers the ultimate summer lift-served mountain biking experience. Killington Resort features 45 miles and a 1,700-foot vertical drop spread across five mountain areas, all served by the K-1 Express Gondola, offering everything from classic cross-country singletrack to challenging big-bike downhill and freeriding trails. Plus, natural and man-made features on select downhill trails.

Laajavuori | FINLAND

Laajavuori Bike Park is a cyclist’s heaven. You can enjoy the sweet ride with your own bike, or you can rent a bike and all the equipment needed from us. From our bike store, Kona Store Finland, you will find bikes for both commuting, and leisure activities.

We want to provide thrill and excitement, and an alternative way to spend your free time outdoors. You do not have to be a cycling enthusiast or professional downhill racer to come and try something new! Laajavuori Bike Park is one of the many Kona Bike Parks in the world. With its beautiful landscape and nearby lakes, Laajavuori offers a great spot for downhill and mountain biking. Variable trails are also rideable for less experienced riders, families and beginners. Laajavuori Bike Park is located only 10 minutes away from downtown Jyväskylä.

LES ARCS | FRANCE

This summer, the BikePark has been completely remodeled in order to offer more diversity to the insiders and more accessibility to the beginners. There are trails for all levels and practices DH, Enduro and Cross Country.

More than 180km of trails from 2600m to 800m, Les Arcs BikePark:

  • 8 Downhills
  • 1 Freestyle Area with: North Shore, Slopestyle and Four Cross
  • 5 Enduro trails and one of 32km.

LOFSDALEN | SWEDEN

Sweden's best green trail? This easy trail is green and measures the entire 3.5 km. The trail is designed to allow everyone to get down. Perfect for beginners and families with children but also as a "getting started trail." Happy MTB Is Lofsdalens highway and named after Sweden’s largest bike forum. The trail is a blue, 2.5 km long and machine made, with 42 berms, 6 jumps, three step-up / down and 10 rollers etc. Viper Is the only DH - trail of its kind in Sweden. Large turns down a landscape full of ravines, hills and ridges. Perfect for DH riding. Viper is a machine made single-track trail with many drops and fun features. Venom is the big news this year. A machine made trail which merges with the Viper in some places so you can easily run different parts of the lines in the same ride. Venom is faster than Happy MTB, with larger jumps and larger berms.

OUNASVAARA | FINLAND

Greetings from Land of Midnight Sun! Right smack dab in the middle of Arctic Circle locates Ounasvaara Bike Park. Resort locates just bike ride distance from center of Rovaniemi.

Ounasvaara offers 3 downhill trails, chairlift transports riders back to the top.

The marked down hill tracks have got three degrees of difficulty:
  • Free ride (length 1350m) = Easy
  • DH Dirt (length 790m) = Average
  • DH Black (length 740m) = Difficult

Besides gravity trails Ounasvaara and its surroundings offer plenty of Enduro and XC trails. Bike Park has bike rental, service and bike shop. Trailside Cafe and snack bar.

Restaurants, accommodations and other services are located right next to the resort. Also lots of other summer activities bob sleighing, frisbee golf, swimming, fishing, Arktikum, Santapark, Santasport activity center and much much more!
