Strengths:
Pull sick tricks and mackin on the ladies.
Favorite Breakfast:
I pretty much eat the same thing every day for
breakfast, 2 pieces of toast, one with Jam and one with Peanut butter.
Favorite Baked Good:
Nanaimo Bars, Butter, sugar, chocolate Man does
it get any better than that?
Ranchero or El Camino:
Dude, I am a Mopar FAN.
Dog or Cat:
Dogs, You gotta love an overly enthusiastic partially
intelligent animal
Snowboard or Ski:
Snowboard, but have been doing alot of XC skiing this
winter and want to do some downhill skiing because its way easier to skin
into the BackCountry than have to lug your snowboard on your back with
snowshoes
Up or Down:
I actually like both
Techno or Metal:
Both, both techno only occasionally otherwise I would
have to punch myself in the ear.
AC/DC or Led Zeppelin:
How can you make a choice between the two, its no
possible. They are like the 2 greatest Rock bands ever.
It's been and up and down year for you but you've been able to stay
positive. Has it been a tough year to stay focused:
Only the last 3
months have been a rough one. But not every year can be a great year, and
winning 2 nationals titles again was gonna be a hard act to follow. Its
still been a good one though.
That was a wicked crash at cyclocross nationals. Is it weird to watch the
you tube video of you smacking the ground:
No way its hilarious, I am just
glad someone caught it on tape. That way people at least know I am not a
total pansy.
You were 2nd at the Firecracker 50 Marathon Nationals last year and another
national championship jersey would be cool. Are you going to approach that
event any differently this year:
Well, the only different way I am going to
approach is that I am gonna win it this year. And maybe try not to flat 2
times again.
You love to race bikes no matter what kind but is there a discipline you
could call your favorite:
Cyclocross for sure. Best racing available
Can you call out a single career highlight and why:
Winning CX Nats last
year was pretty sweet, because I had alot of expectations of doing well
then be able to pull it off and just ride a great race was definetly a
relief.
What's it mean to you to be riding for the Kona:
Its pretty sweet, I
couldn't imagine a more supportive, enthusiastic, kick ass company to race
for.
Do you know what an 8-Track Tape is? If you did what got the most play time:
I’m not that young. Most played…probably Earth, Wind and Fire.
What's with the peanut butter in the morning for breakfast:
I just like
nut butter in my mouth in the morning! something wrong with that?
Has Norm ever made you pee your pants laughing. If so when:
I dont find
him funny at all
You've got some serious horsepower, do you work on it or does it just come
around when you're fit:
Uhhh, well I work at it to be fit. But i do
my fair share of training trying to win race so.... yeah I work at it.
What's your favorite number and why:
1 because if your not first your
last!
Does your mom still ride a Harley:
Unfortunately she does, that is one
stubborn lady. You think 2 weeks in ICU would teach ya, but the older they
get....
Last Words:
Thanks to Dan, Jake, and all the kids at Kona for keepin
us rollin down the trail, road, whatever whatever for all these years. |
